These terms are between you and AVJM LLC and cover your use of Fennec.
The service
Fennec transcribes meetings on your Mac and suggests answers using AI. Suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You decide what to say, and you are responsible for it.
Your account
You need an account to get suggestions. Keep your sign-in secure. You must be at least 16.
Plans and payment
- Free: limited monthly use, described in the app.
- Pro: USD 29 per month, USD 69 per quarter or USD 199 per year, with the monthly limits described in the app. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your country.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app (Settings, Account, Manage subscription); you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from your next renewal.
- Plan limits exist so the service stays affordable. If you reach a limit, suggestions pause until the next period or until you upgrade. We may also limit automated or abusive use.
Acceptable use
Do not use Fennec to record people without the consent the law requires, to break your employer's or anyone else's rules, to deceive people in ways that are unlawful, to break the law, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the service. If an employer or interviewer forbids outside assistance, following that rule is your responsibility.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, records and sources stay yours. You give us only the rights needed to run the service, for example to relay text to the AI provider and to store your records if you turn on sync. The privacy policy explains what we collect.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error free. Transcription and your local records keep working offline.
Ending
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice when that is reasonable.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before a change to these terms takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
